SEATS FOR NEW ZEALANDERS.
Received Thursday, 9.0 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 6. In addition to Mr. and Mrs. Jordan who will be tlie ofiieial representatives of the Government, eight seats for the Royal wedding have been allocated-to " distinguished Xew Zealanders" visiting Britain. The allocation of these seats has been decided by Xew Zealand Ilouse and the announcement of the names of those to whom invitations will "be issued will be released shortly. The Conimonwealth Relations Ofiice has also offered eight to ten seats overlooking the procession route in Whitehall to Xew Zealand guests. These have been balloted for by all those who have applied to Xew Zealand House for facilities — over 1Q0 written applications alone have been' received. At the Coronation 2750 seats along the line of route were alloeated to Xew Zealanders and 20 seats for the Abbey ceremony. On that occasion, liowever, extensive temporary seating was provided both along the route and in the Abbey. Xo such arrangements are being made for the Royal Wedding. It is understood that, on a population basi.s, the allocation of eight Abbey seats to Xew Zealand is generous by comparison with allocations to the other Dominions.
