More Compulsion
"The Crown has not sumcient land at the present time to settle all ex-servicemen who have applied for farms," stated a letter from the Minister of Lands, Mr. Skinner, received at a meeting of the executive of the Wanganui Returned Services' Association. "The Crown is active in the purehase of additional properties for the settlement of ex-servicemen and more and more use is being made of the compulsory provlsions of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Saies Act for the acquisition of the land required."
