Very gratifying resul'ts had attended the national reeruitment appeal for nurses, instituted some six weeks ago, said Mr. H. F. Foogood, chairman of the national reeruitment conimittee of the Hospital BOards' Association, in cooperation with the Department of Health. Already the response exeeeded 700 from all parts of New Zealand. The appeal, designed to help hospital district s obtaining nursing staff, is on a national scale and this is the first time the Health Department and hospital Boanls have cooperated in recruitiuf; staff.
