FLEEING POLISH PATRIOT IN BRITAIN
«► sReceived Tuesday, 10.15 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 3. Cheers from all parts of the House of Commons greeted an announcement by the Parlianientary Under-Secretary ' for the Foreign Office, Major C. P. Mayhew, that the Polish Peasant Party leader, M. Mikolajczk, who fled' from Poland on October 26, had arrived at Manston Airport today and had been given permission to land. Major Mayhew said he could not at present give other information. Mr. J. Blackburn said the news would be received with great relief. A11 Air Ministry spokesman revealed that M. Mikolajczk reache*d Manston in a special Royal Air Force plane from "somewhere in Germany." Manston is the Transport Command airport. The news was immediately sent to M. Mikolajczyk's wife, who lives at Kenton, Middlesex, and London friends.
