EIGHTEEN KILLED IN 'PLANE DISASTER

Received Sundav, 9.50 p.m. SEATTLE, Nov, I. Pan-Amej'ican World Airways today announced that the wreckage of its missing DC4 airliner wliich vanished on Sundav with 18 aboard had been^sighted on Annette Island, near Ketchikan,. Alaska. It is reported that the crash site is on the4 north side of Tangas Mountain,, six miles east of the Annette Island landing field, where the pilot last .reported on Sundav that extreme tui'bulenee had turned him back from his scheduled landing. A ground party found the charred bQdies of all 18 of the airliner 's eomplement including one infant scattered near the wreckage. The aireraft was only three minutes' flying-time from the field tvhich it had been fighting to reach.
