Damaging Frost
An unexpected frost on Saturday nigbt caused considerable damage to potato crops, tomatoes and beans m the Levin district. Mr. H Har7£yl °JL Cambridge street, advises that there were four degrees of frost, while last night two degrees was reported. He said the barometer reached 30.35 inches this morning and was still rising giving every indication of a peri'od of fine weather ahead.
