WEDDING

RUSSELL— KING The marriage took place at All Baints' Church, Otaki, on October 18, of Audrey Gladys, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. King, Otaki Railway, to Donovan Victor, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Russell, of Waikanae. Tne bride's frock of cream georgette was designed and made by her cousin, Miss Shirley Fraser, of Hataitai. The circular yoke, long sleeves and graded peplum weie of lace, with the train also edged with lace to match. A coronet of soft white feather tips held in place the Lovely embroidered veil, and she carried a bouquet of white gladioli, white cyclamen, freezias and lily-of-the-valley. Turquoise blue marquisette frocks, with coronets of pink- tinted feather tips and net head veils were worn by the two bridesmaids, Misses Noela Taylor (cousin of the bride ) and Edie Russell (sister of the bridegroom) . Their frocks were made with square neckline, short sleeves edged with ruching and frilled peplums, and they carried bouquets of cyclamen, stocks and erica in shaues of pink. The duties of bestman were ably carried out by Mr. Harold Fairley and Mr. G. King, Junr., was groomsman. Miss Dulcie Taylor played appropriate music during che service. The church was beautifully decorated by Mrs. H. Taylor, assisted by Miss Dawn Taylor. As the bride left the church she was presented with a satin horse shce from her three small cousins, Margaret, John and Pamela Read, of. Foxton. Canon H. E. K. Fry was the offlciating minister and also toastmaster at the reception, which followed in the Anglican Hall, where 140 guests were present, including relatives and friends from all paris of the Horth Isand. When the young couple left later by car, the bride wore a tan suit with pale green blouse and tan accessories. The honeymoon is being spent at Rotorua and Auckland. 1 1 ■
