Received Friday, 10 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 31. The latest intelligence from IndiaP military sources is that Sikh airborne troops, with the help of Royal Indiart Air Force fighters, after halting the lebels' frontal advance on Srinagar Patan, 16 miles from the capital, have now driven tliem hack some eight milss along the road to Baramula. This is reported hy The Times' corres pondent at Srinagar who adds that the rebels are now reported to be fanning out northwards away from the road, to wards the western slopes of Wulai Lake. It is not known how far they have penetrated but their object ap pears to be to ccme round across the lake and capture Sumbal, 16 miies northwest oi Srinagar.
