evenmg. S ealing of Grey Street The town clerk, Mr. J. T. Bovis, notified members of the Shannon Borough Council at a meeting on Tuesday evening that the district engineer had advised that the council's sealing proposal for Grey Street had been reported upon and | "engineering proposals submitted to the Main _ Highways Board for approval with some amendments. On the motion of Cr. R. R. Lind, the town clerk was directed to make application to the highways board to advance the council's share of the work, repayment to be made over a term of ten years. Tribute to Mayor - Speaking at the fortnightly' meeting of the Shannon Borough Council on Tuesday evening, Cr. R. R. Lind expressed regret that the| Mayor, Mr. R. E.
