SOFTBALL OPENS TOMORROW
NEW GROUND TO BE USED • The opening of the Horowhenua softball season will be held. tomorrow on the association's new grounds, adjoining the Levin gasworks. Players are requested to be at the grounds at 8.30 a.m. to make final arrangements for the games, which will begin at 10.30 a.m. The following is the draw:— Ajax men v. Aces A, No. 1 diamond; Wanderers" men v. Pirates men, No. 2 diamond; Raukawa men v. winners of the first game; Aces Colts v. Wanderers ladies; Aces ladies B v. Ajax 'ladies; Raukawa men B v. Kimberley Farm; Aces ladies A v. Raukawa ladies A.
