HOT TIME PROMISED NIGHT PROWLERS
WELLINGTON, Oct. 30. "I would dip them in boiling oil. 1 cannot think of any other tfeatment for such maniacs, " said the chairman of the Wellington Hospital Board, Mr. H. F. Toogood, tonight, when the lioard's precautions for the safety of the women of the staff against prowlers Were reported to the monthly meeting. The chairman of the house eommittee, Mrs. Knox Gilmer, had reported tne ■provision of extra lighting in tlie grounds and extra male staff at night. "We have had many offers of voluntary help in looking for such prowlers," said Mr. Toogood. "There are plenty of people itching to baste daylight out of them. ' ' Members stated after the board meeting that there had been instances of prowlers* in the hospital grounds.
