SPECIAL RULES FOR GOLF TEST TOMORROW
» WELLINGTON, Oct. 31. Because of heavy ground conditions at Heretaunga, speciai local rules were agreed 011 this morning for the amaieur golf Test between New Zealand and Australia. It was decided to permit players to lift and place a ball lying in water in a bunker. A ball embedded in a fairway may be lifted and dropped vviihin oue club's lengih. A Iraetor used the course yesterday and left deep wheel marks 011 several of the fairways. Bulls which rest in such tracks may be lifted and dropped without penalty. Thf* draw for tomorrow, in order of play is as follows, Australian liames being mentioned first: A. H. Coiledge v. R. H. Gladding, R. »S. .Biown v. W. G. Horne. W. A Edgar v. B. M. Silk, K. C. Pix v. D. L. W0011.
