The cord was iianging down thc front of the stove to within 18 inches of the floor at the tirue of the accident. l)r. His condition was serious and on September '29 he devcloped browlio-piieumoma and eollapsed. "These distressing accidents could be provided for if electricians installing flexes would limit theiu to short lengths as required." said the coroner. It was ii.it fhe'first case where a child had died from burns received after up setting a hot Avaler jug. He returned a liuding that death was eaused following cxtensive burns sullered in an accident at his home.
