RUMANIAN FRIENDSHIP WITH RUSSIA
^ Received Thursday, 10 a.m. BUCHAREST, Oct. 16. King Michael today opened the second session of Rumania's flrst post-war Parliament. He said that Rumania would co-operate with the nations that respected her independence and sovereignty of her peoples. "Our friendship with the Soviet, which is the constant defender of ' the peace, democracy and independence of our peoples, remains the foundation of our foreign policy," he added.
