PERSONAL
There are several Otaki residents at present in hospital in Palmerston North. Mrs. Drew is reported to be making progress, Mr. W. Hurrell hopes to return home next week, Mr. K. Roach, who has had. an operation,. is reported to be making good progress although another operation may be necessary, Mr. Tom Smith continues in indifferent health, while Mr. W. Jenkins, the well-known jockey who was severely injured some time ago, j making progress.
