SALE OF AYRSHIRE CATTLE
CHAMPION HEIFER AWARD TO LEVIN A total of over 50 pedigree Ayrsliine bulls and heifers was disposed of under the hammer at the fifth annual show and sale of the Wellington-West Coasi Ayrsliire Breeders' Club held in Palmerston North yesterday. Twenty-five bulls, in good conditlon, averaged 55 guineas and an offering of 28 heifers averaged 27 guineas. With a bencli of nearly 200, bidding was brisk throughotit, the highest priee realised being 5S guineas for a pedigree Ayrshire bull on account of Mr. A. Hill and Son (Rongotea).
