SCHOOLROOM IMPROVEMENTS
IHAKARA RESIDENTS' PLANS The plans for the building of a new schoolroom and improvements to the settlers'' hall at Ihakara were carried a stage further recently, when a special- general meeting of the Ihakara Hall Society received two- tenders for the work- and accepted1 one of them. The7 proposals embody the building of a jnew scfiddlroom, 22 feet iong and- 18 feet wide-, to- give 'much needed additional space, and the proviSion of more adequate convenienees than are at present available to the children. , The existing schoolroom is to- be ineorporated into- the public hall.
