CHINESE NATIONALISTS TAKE COMMUNIST PORT
Received Wednesdav, 11.44 p.m. NANKIXG, Oct. 1. The Government announced today the capture of tlib important Communist port of Chefoo on the Shantung peninsula, the chief objective of tfie recent Nationalist drive in Nortn China. The Government alleged that Communists in North China were being supplied through Chefoo from Koviet oceupied Dairen, 100 miles northward.
