ROMMEL'S HORSE DEAD
Received Tuesdav, 7 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 28. "Ronimel," the white Arab stallion which the German field mashal hoped to ride iu triumplial processiou through Alexandria and Cairo in 1910, is dead. The horse was t'ound wandering in the desert after the Battle of E1 Alamein, and was presented to Field Alarshal Montgomery, who gave it to the King. After a short stay at Windsor, the stailion was sent to the Army Reiuouut School at Mellon Mowbray to be trained, but he proved so intractable ' that he had to be destroyed.
