MINERS' THREAT TO BOYCOTT HOTELS
GREYMOUTH, Sept. 30. West Coast hotelkeepers, at a largely attended meeting today, decided that the price of beer be increased toniorrow by one penny per glass to 7d and spirits lOd. The trades eouncil has called on union members to boycott the hotels if the price of beer is raised, Two Miners' Unions, Strongman and Wallsend, have adopted a resolution to put the boycott into effeet.
