HEALTH STAMP SALES
HEAVY DEMAND AT LEVIN POST OFFICE Though the sale of health stamps opened at the Levin PQst Office only this morning, by midday saies exceeded £200. Levin's quota for the period of the campaign, Octo.ber to February, was £260 7s 3d, the quota being fixed on a population basis. When stamps to this value have been sold, further supplies will be made available. Throughout the morning there was a steady d^mand for the' stamps, particularly among school children. There has also been a keen demand for first day covers, but the 500 allocated to Levin had' all been sold by 9.15 a.m. The ! Junior Chamber of Commerce is1' assisting the Post Office and from! an early hour this morning were canvassing the business section of the town. J "
