ZEALANDER SCORES IN OPEN SIX AT OTAKI A feature of the Otaki meetiiig on Saturday was the striking victory of Beau le Havre in the Ling Memorial. The crack galloper stripped well and he outclassed the opposition whieh inelnded many first-class gallopers. The open.six was won by' Zealander, whieh was 10/13 in the' betting. Ile was going easily entering the straight, where Iiosswood had moved into seeond plaee and Imperial had moved forward. Beau le Havre dropped the field in the last furlong and ran in a wiuner by six lengths from Rosswood, who was a couple of lengths ahead of Imperial.
