TWO BIG AIRCRAFT COMING TO NEW ZEALAND.

Received Sunday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 26. The Aries II, successor to the Empire Air Navigation Schooi's famous Aries I, is due to ari'ive at Whenuapai from Brisbane on November 11 on a liaison fiight. Commanded by Group Captain E. E. Veille, O.B.E., who will also be first pilot, and with Wing Commander M. Y. Wyatt, D.F.C., as fiight commander and sec-ond pilot, the Aries II will tour New Zealand airfields from November 13 to November 23. She will take oil for Brisbane on October -23. The Air Ministry states this is ii normal routine' visit similar to thax paid by the Aries I to New Zealand. An R.A.F. Lincoln bomber from the Central Bomber Establishment is to make a liaison fiight to New Zealand, and is due to arrive at Ohakea from Sydney on November 10. It is to flv to Wigram on November 14, and Whenuapai on November 18, and leave for Melmourne on November 21. Central Bomber Establishment is the R.A.F. 's "university " for the study oi bombing strategy, and lectures on the subject will be given during the New Zealand tour.
