REGENT THEATRE

■ ■; Frnally tonight, JamCs Masoit, Margaret Loekwood with Barbara Mullens in "A Place of One's Gwn," and Evelyn Keyes, Keenan Wynn with Ann Miller - in "Thrill of graz^ " SATURDAY AND MONDAY _ MATINEE SATURDAY 2 P.M. The film "Mildred Pierce" is a "must-see" for a' number of reasons. It is performance-perfect. Co-starred with Joan Crawford, Zachary Scott and Jack Carson add new lustre- to their respective careers. AS ' Monty Beragon, a suave scoundrel, by whom Mildred is at first taken in— then simply taken— Zachary Scott is a villain — with a difference. Scott gives Monty the careful, accurate character shading characteristic of a Superlative actor. And as Wally Faye, Mildred's grasping business-part-ner and part- time suitor, Jack Carson contributes a typically ineisive performance. Be wise and make early reservations for this one.
