BRITAIN DEMANDS IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Received Monday, 11 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 14. A Foreign Office spokesman Stated that the British note to Yugoslavia about the treatment of British and American troops refer- ■ red specifically to the five British soldiers who were detained on July 16 and released on July 19 after suffering serious maltreatment, as a result of which they are now in hospital. The note declared that this was only one of many such instances, and requested the immediate re- ' lease of all Allied service personnel in detention.
