Informed sourcea say that friendship with neighbours "when Uno manages to suppress the present foreign interference" will be the main feature of the policy of the new Greek Ooalition Government, states Reuter ;s Athems eorrespondent. The policy will pfo vide for an immediate amnesty for guerrillas who lay down their arms and also a full guarantee for their lives and provision of jobs. Otherwise the Government will begin a relentless struggle against the guerrillas. If the results of the amnesty are successful a general amnesty will be granted anu Cabinet will prepare for new eleetions. The Government on Wednesday will present a programme to Parliament which will then adjourn to the end of Oetober. The present distribution of portfolios will give the Liberals nine and Populists 13. Messrs Tsaldaris and Sofoulis agreed to cooperate in the formation of a new Greek Coalition Government composed of Populists and Liberals, says Reuter 's eorrespondent in Athens. They ishuecl a joint statement announcing that Mr. Sofoulis will be Prime Minister aml Mr. Tsaldaris deputy Prime Minister in the new Coalition Government.
