FAESTEST RISING STAR
Cyd Charisse, beautiful dancing actress and one if not Hollywood's fastest rising young stars, has been assigned to the cast of Metro's "The Kissing Bandit." In the new musical, which will be in technicolour, Cyd joins Frank Sinatra. She will play -the part of Bianca, young gypsy dancer who roams the early Californian Torests with a group of bold, dashing bandits. It is one of her most important screen assignments to date and follows her recent portrayal of a young ballerina in "The Unfinished Dance." The dark-haired beauty, who began dancing when she was eight first attracted attention at dance recitals in her native Amarillo, Texas. She grew up to become a member of the famed Monte Carlo Ballet de Russe rind toured Europe with great organisation. •
