THE £500 LOOK
Eeceived Priday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 5. Because she always smiled when she served him his morning coffee in the Law Society 's coffee room in Chancery Lane, Mr. Herbert William Guthrie, solicitor, of High Holborn, left the waitress Miss Winnie Farndon, £500 in his £95,000 will. Miss Farndon said she did not even know Mr. Guthrie by name although she had served him for many years. About a year ago he beekoneci her to his table and asked her her name and address but made no other remarks. In his will Mr. Guthrie said he beqiieathed the legacy to Miss Farndon "in recognition of her happy disposition."
