A GENEROUS DONATION

SCHOOL AND MARCHING GRILS BENEFIT The Shannon School picnic fund and the local girls' marching teams will benefit greatly from a generous donation to their respective causes by Mr. Jhing Lee, a former Shannon business man. Jhing, as he is bet'ter known in the district, has always had a soft spot in his heai't for the little children and his gifts of sweets and fruit each year to the school committee for the annual picnics has always been greatly appreciated by the committee, the children and their parents. Now, on the eve of his departure for his native China, he has made this generous gift to the young people of 'the town and it is without doubt-that the children and the marching girls will long remember the name of Jhing Lee. All join In wishing him an excellent trip to his home, a pleasant stay in China and a safe return to this country.
