"Mv attentiou has lieen drawn to the fact tiiat some farmers have reduced ordhrs for superphosphate for the ensuing season for the reason that there is to be a considerable increase in the price of this fertiliser tlirough the with drawal of subsidies, " said Mr. J. J. Evans, general niaiiager of the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board, in a stutenient tonight.
