LINK BETWEEN MAN AND APE

/Received Thursday, 7 p.m. . LONDON, Sept. 4. Delegates attending the conference of the British Association for the Advancement of Science, at Dufldee, were shown slides of the bohes of a prehistoric ape found at Sterkfontein, South Afriea. Professor E. W. Legros Clark, of Oxford, who "exhibited the slides, said the fihd was of surpassing importance in establishing the evolution of the human race. The bones showed that the ereature froan which they came walked tipright and had characteristics linking it with the human family. It was difficult to establish the precise geographical age when these creatures lived on earth, but they might well provide the link between man and the anthoropoid apes.
