HAWKE'S BAY FARMERS' SUGGESTION DANNEVIRKE, Friday. In connection with the food for Britain campaign, a suggestion has been made by a Southern Hawke's Bay farmer, that the amount of meat for export could be augmented enormously by the simple expedient of increasing the weight of lambs for export if they were held for an additional period and the weights were increased say to 45 lbs.
