V/ELLINGTON, Thursday. For the next week, and possibly longer, exceptionaily heavy demands are expected to b'e made upon the availaole waterfront labour in Wellington, and the waterfront industry commission is makmg urgent appeal for additional labour to ensure that the turnround of ships will be effected with a minimuin delay. A spokesman for the Commission said* that there was unusual pressufe on the port facilities as many ships had converged, or were converging on Wellington. For several ships sufficient labour is not yet available. . Coping with the developing congestion is •egarded as an especial factor in helping Britain.
