RUGBY ADMINISTRATION

UNIO'N EXEGIJTIVE MEETS Mr. A. Gillespie presided over a fair attendance of members at a meeting of the management committee of the Horowhenua Rugby Union on Tuesday night. A motion torescind the committee's previous decision declining approval to the regrading of W. Lay, of the Foxton Club, from senior to junior was lost. The comiiiittee agreed to the regrading of C. Carmont, also of Foxton Club, from senior to junior. A letter was received from the chairman of the Levin branch of the United Nations Association. Mr. E. R. "Winkler, asking the union to elect two representatives to attend the next meeting of the association. The meeting decided to send Messrs. J. E. Fullarton and F. G. Carrington as the union's representatives. The manager of the senior representative team on Saturday will be Mr. T. Winiata. All gear will be supplied by the unron. The fourth grade team manager will be Mr. C. H. Johnston. Fourth grade players will have to supply their own socks. A bus will leave Shannon at 11.45 a.m., departing from Foxton for Levin at 12.15 p.m. This bus will provide transport for all fourth grade and senior players in those districts. Members of the public will also be permitted to travel by this bus. Another bus will leave Otaki at 12 o'clock and will take en route all players living north of that town. Players living south of Otaki will travel to Otaki by train.
