THURSDAY AND FRIDAY MATINEE THURSDAY 2 P.M.
Pride of place this week comes to "Home Sweet Home" at tha Regent Theatre on Thursday and Friday. Produced by Butchers, it is a British production. People generally love a bit of nonsense now and then in their entertainment, and this film offers them all they wish for! We get some fine piano playing by the famous *pair Rawitz and Landauer, and some excellen't singing, but the rest of the story would make any misanthrope smile! A quartette of popular stars, headed by Margaret Lockwood, play the principal roles in Vera Caspary's new story "Bedelia," which has just been filmed, and which comes to the Regent Theatre on Thursday and Friday. Afiss Lockwood is Bedelia, herself, while Ian Hunter is Bedelia's husband, Anne Crawford, his business partner, and Barry K. Barnes, a crime investigator. Will patrons please note "Bedelia" will screen last at all sessions, enabling those children to go home at interval whose parents do -not wish them to see same.
