WELLINGTON, Scpt. 1. To house the secon'd batch of assistcl British immigrants who are duC in October, the Departinent of Labour and Employuient is negotiating with the armv for camp acconimodation. There has been no difficulty in linding aceommodation for the first draft, said an officer of the Uepartment today. Most of the women had gone to mental hospitals and the few remaining had gone to public service hostels. Of the uiea most had gone to mining and sawmilling^, jobs where acconimodation was available. A few who had entered in dustries in the Wellington district had been quartered at the Department'i workers camps at Hataitai Park ano the winter show building until tlfey could lind private board.
