WORK AT PARAPARAUMU
WELLINGTON, Sept. 1. Faciliiies for passengers similar to those at Rongotai would be, provided. at Paraparaumu airport, and it was hoped that most of the necessaijy work would be completed wheu the change-over to Paraparaumu was made ou September 27, said the Minister iu Charge of Civ-il Aviation (Mr. Jones) today, referring to the eriticism made by the Mayor of Auckland (Mr. J. A. Allum) of the lack of facilities at the new airport. Mr. Jones said that the National Airways Corporation was at present investigating the Lransport situation and planniug for the handliug of increased passenger trallic between Wellington and Paraparaumu, which was anticipated wheu the trausfer was carried out. j
