LEVIN BEAT MORNINGTON On Sunday a teamTrom Mom^ ington Golf Club travelled to Levin to play a match with the Levin Club. Playing under ideal cOnditions, Levin won the match by 11 games to 4 with three halved. With Levin players mentioned first, the results were as follows:— Singles: S. C. Franklin halved with G. Lindsay, D. .Clark beat R. McGee, C. Hosie lost to Myers, A. Clarke beat Warwick, C. Melville beat Watkins, O. C. Lagor lost 'to Emmerson, D. Todd halved with Lindsay, R. Keenan beat Jacobi, L. Carmichael beat McLean, J. Corry beat Wheeler, W. S. Ogier beat Mason, F. Ryder beat Smith. Foursomes : Franklin and. . D. Clark lost to Lindsay and McGee, Hosie and A. Clarke beat Myers and Warwick, Melville and Lagor beat Watkins and Emmerson, Todd and Keenan lOst to Lindsay and Jacobi, Carmichael and Corry beat McLean and Wheeler, Ogier and Ryder halved with Mason and Smith. • Next Saturday will be the last round of the Nicholson Cup.
