BOXING TOURNAMENT

GOOD BOUTS ARRANGED FOR TOMORROW NIGHT Tomorrow night Levin residents will have the opportunity of witnessing one of the best all-amateur boxing tournaments produced in this town for many .years. The tournament is being arranged by the Levin Amateur Boxing Club. The ofbcials in charge of the tournament are as follows: — President: Mr. Carl Larsen; judges: Messrs. Greig and Watchorn; referee: Mr. P. Stone (Wellington; ; announcer: Mr. L. Carmichael; timekeeper: Mr. H. Hunt; gong: Mr. W. Hanna.n; scales: Mr. B. Bell; glove stewards: Messrs. D. Convery and R. Beatty; seconds: Messrs. Rankin Bros; call stewards: Messrs. A. Ramsay and J. George; match committee: Messrs. A. Stewart, D. Hair and H. Ward. The programme has been arranged to include two star bouts between champions and runnersup for district championships* in the 14 fights. The programme "will be opened at 8 p.m. sharp with the Samoan War Dance, the participants being the Samoan trainees from Hedburg's boxing school, of Wellington. The contestants are as follows: R.
