THOUSANDS FLEEING FROM PUNJAB HORROR

v ^ Received Thursday, 10.30 a.m. LAHORE, Aug. 27. Thousands of refugees continued to stream along Punjab roads today to escape from the mass murder, arson and plunder which has engulfed both sides of the Pakis-tan-Indian border. The Moslem leaders claimed that over 100,000 Moslem refugees have poured into Pakistan. The Hindu and Sikh leaders said tha't many thousands of their people had likewise been driven from Pakistan. Heavy troop movements are occurring as both the Pakistan and Indian Governments strive to meet their pledges of the safety of the Minorities.
