CONCERT AT LEVIN FARM

MUNICIPAL BAND ENTERTAINS Last evening the Levin Municipal Band, under the conduetorship of Mr. G. R. Lester, visited the Levin Parm in Kimberley Road and entertained with a programme of selected numbers. Among the items was the eontest selection, "Knight Errant," which was popularly received. At the( conclusion the band was i entertained at supper, Mr. C. H. Nelson, president, expressing the thanks of the bandsmen to Mr. G. T. Wylie for the good treatment always accorded them on their - visits, and to Mr. W. Cribb for providing transport for the band. Mr. Wylie apologies for the. absence of the officer in charge, Mr. C. A. Guy, who was unable to be present, and voiced the appreciation of the boys, girls and staff not only to the band,. but to other similar organisations in Levin which voluntarily attended the farm to provide a variety of entertainment for them.
