Wellington by defeating Hutt Valley by 20 points to nil, won the primary schools quadrangular tournament at Masterton this ] afternoon. Wairarapa beat Horo- j whenua by 11 points to 3. The tournament points are as follows: Wellington 5, Hutt 4, Wairarapa 2, Horo whenua 1. Wairarapa hospitality must have proved too good for the Horowhenua team. Starting off like champions they overcame a 9 — 0 deficit against Wellington in the first game to draw nine all. However, in their last two matches their conaition appeared to 'be at fault. . In the final game today they were defeated by Wairarapa by 11 points to three. For Horowhenua a try was scored by Warman. Three Horowhenua ' boys who showed real football ability were B. Warman, W. Calaer and J. Broughton.
