FAMOUS WINDJAMMER CAPTAIN DEAD

Rcceived Tuesday, .12.42 a.m. LONDON, August 25. The famous windjanuner master, Captain Gustaf Kricson, aged 71, the last man to own a windjammer fl.ee t, has died at Mariehamn in the Aland Islands. He owned 40 four-master barques in his lifetime. His ships included the Herzogin Oeeile, 4350 tons, the world 's fastest sailiug ship, and- the Pamir, 1500 tons, now in the hands of the New Zealand Government.
