The final between Nelson and Christ's College was evenlv contested. in the forwards but Nelson 's versatile baclcs were much superior and staged many i.ttraclive rushes. The score was 12 — 8. In a gaine between the first dav's h/sers. Wanganui beat Wellington 13—6.
