ARMED BANK ROBBERY IN CANADA

The Jatest in a series of bank roo beries in Ontario oecurred on FridayVv'hen two gunraen stole 40,000 dollar.-i from a braneli of the Royal Bank of t'anada. The bank clerks and 15 cu* toniers were lined up against a w'all bv a inan with a submachinegun while the other secured the loot. The bank uianager told the poliee that iie id'entified the man with the subniatdrinegun as a eouviet who fled irojn Kingston gaol recently. Previons robberies have netted" the thieves 550,000 dollars in cash, jewel lery and negotiable securities.
