Reeeived Sunday, 8.50 p.m. SYDNEY, August "24. Three appfeufiee jockeys were thrown from their mounts and one iiijured in a false start when an onlooker shouted "go" wliile the field was lining up for the Rosehill Handicap at Rosehill yesterday. When the horses were brought baclc to the starting point after they had galloped a furlong the same onlooker tried to effect a second false start. Angered by his action a seetion oi the crowd chased the offender who es caped. Fortunately rain had softened the tapes of the barrier and most of the ruuners broke througli. Oue apprenfice reeeived nose and throat burns but rode his horse into third place when the race was restarted.
