' ' Further, as worlcers we are gravely concerned at the failure of the Arbi-n-ation Uourt to deal properly, with the wages application made by the Federation of Lqbour. We urge the Federation to organise the workers of New Zealand and take whatever steps are necessary to ensure the workers a just and equitable wages increase. "Further, we are of opinion that the workers should partieipate in the control and management of industry before being asked to increase production, as only bu such participation in control and management can we avoid further and inereased exploitation. We urge the Federation of Labour to contmued vigilauce in the interests of the working class because there are many indi cations that a frontal attack is meditated upon our wages and conditions. " Several speakers are reported to have critic.ised the Minister of Labour (Ilon. A. McLagan), some suggesting that lie should be asked to resign.
