Horowhenua resumed their attack with Rippen, Anderson and -Rogers following up well. Miller came off the field at this stage and was replaced by Skilton. . Attacking well, Horowhenua took the game to the Bush twenty-five. Hill was seen to be playing well when he made several bids, but was grassed each time. Horowhenua was given a penalty right in front of the posts, Taylor easily putting it over. Horowhenua 13, Bush 0.
