NEW PLYMOUTH, August 22. When the preliminary hearing of the charge against Herbert Edward Pearce, single, aged 21, of Tututawa, alleging the murder of Mrs. Georgina Harwood, of Tututawa, on August 13 is proceeded with, it is expected to occupy two days. This was stated bv Inspector D. J. Heritt in the New Plymouth Court this morniug. He added that the hearing would take place at Stratford. Pearce appeared on remand today before Mr. W. H. Woodward. A further remand till Eridaymext was granted.
