WELLINGTON, Aug. 21. "I would like to tell the Ilouse that the 'hlackout' 011 huilding permits was lifted today," said the Minister of Lands, Hon. C. P. Skinner, whr on hehalf of the Miniscer of Works, Mr. Semple, replied to a question asked jointly hy Mr. A. S. Sutherland (Hauraki) and Mr. W. j. Sullivan (Bay of Plenty). Opposition memhers greeted Mr Skinner's verhal reply to the question with cries cf "Hooray."
